Share & Roles

.md

Collaborate on projects with teammates. Share access by email with dedicated roles (Viewer, Editor, or Manager), allowing everyone's assistant to work with the same up-to-date files.

How to share a project

You can grant access directly in chat or on the website.

In chat:

Share the Pacpio project Sales bot with kate@example.com as an Editor.

Before applying changes, your assistant will confirm the recipient's email and role.

On the web: Open the project, go to the Sharing tab, and enter the person's email.

Inviting new users: If the person doesn't have a Pacpio account yet, they will receive an email invite. Once they sign in with that email and connect their assistant, the shared project will appear automatically.

What each role can do

Role What they can do
Viewer View the project, read files, ask questions about its tables, and download contents.
Editor Everything a Viewer can do, plus create, edit, and delete files and the rows of tables.
Manager Everything an Editor can do, plus manage access, rename the project, and change its project link.
Owner Full control, including permanently deleting the project. Each project has exactly one owner.

Free plan limit: up to 5 people per project (in addition to the owner).

Modify or revoke access

Update roles or remove people at any time:

Change kate@example.com's role to Viewer in my Pacpio project Sales bot.

Remove kate@example.com from my Pacpio project Sales bot.

Your assistant will always ask for confirmation before changing anyone's access. Revocations take effect immediately.

Real-time collaboration

There are no conflicting copies or files to send back and forth. When an Editor saves a change:

  • The update is instantly available to all team members and their assistants.
  • The version history records exactly who made the change and when.
