Versions & History

.md

Every save creates a new version. Track changes, see who made them, and restore earlier versions directly from chat or on the website.

How versioning works

Whenever you or your assistant saves a file, Pacpio records the project's exact state:

  • Change summaries: Each version includes a short summary, author, and timestamp.
  • Nothing is permanently lost: Even deleted files can be recovered from history.
  • Tables, row by row: When your assistant changes a table, the version shows exactly which rows were added, changed or removed.
  • Safe undo: Restoring an earlier version is recorded as a new version, so you can always go back without losing progress.

Check history directly in conversation or via the web interface:

What changed in my Pacpio project Sales bot this week?

Show the recent version history for my Pacpio project Sales bot.

On the web, open your project and go to the History tab to see a chronological timeline of all changes (newest first).

Restore an earlier version

You can roll back files using chat or the web app.

From chat:

Undo the last change in my Pacpio project Sales bot.

Your assistant will show the recent versions and confirm which version to restore. Restoring rolls back existing files to that point and removes any files created after it.

From the web: Go to the History tab, locate the version you want, and click Restore.
