Enable view-only access
- Sign in and open Connect your AI.
- Locate the assistant under Connected apps.
- Toggle off Can save changes.
That assistant can now search and read your project files and ask questions about your tables. It cannot save, edit, move, or delete anything. Other connected assistants remain unaffected.

- Testing new models: Safely try out new assistants without risking accidental changes to your prompts.
- Workplace safety: Allow an internal or shared assistant to follow company instructions without the ability to modify them.
- Shared computers: Prevent unauthorized edits when working from shared or public computers.
Turn saving back on
Toggle Can save changes back on at any time. The change takes effect immediately on the next request—no reconnection required.
