# Disconnect an Assistant

Revoke access for any connected assistant at any time. Access is removed immediately, while your projects and files remain safe and intact.

## Step 1: Revoke access in Pacpio

1. Sign in and open [Connected Apps](https://pacpio.com/connect#connected-apps).
2. Find the assistant you want to remove. You will see its connection date and last active timestamp.
3. Click **Disconnect**.

Access is revoked immediately. The assistant can no longer view, search, or update your projects.

## Step 2: Remove Pacpio from the assistant

Even after access is revoked, Pacpio may still appear in your assistant's settings:

- Open your assistant's settings (look for “Connectors”, “Integrations”, “Tools” or “MCP”).
- Delete or disable the Pacpio integration to remove it from your chat interface.

## Reconnecting later
