# Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Pacpio projects, supported file formats, pricing, and integrations.

## General

<details>
<summary>Is a Pacpio project the same as a Project in Claude or ChatGPT?</summary>

No. Standard projects in Claude or ChatGPT are siloed inside that single platform. A Pacpio project is stored externally and works across all your connected assistants and team members. To ensure your assistant references Pacpio rather than its native workspace, mention "Pacpio project" in your prompt.

</details>

<details>
<summary>Is Pacpio free?</summary>

Yes. The free personal plan includes unlimited projects, full version history, 500 MB of storage, and up to 5 people per project. See our [Pricing](https://pacpio.com/pricing) page.

</details>

<details>
<summary>Which languages can I use?</summary>

You can interact with your assistant and name your projects, folders, and files in any language. The Pacpio web interface is currently available in English.

</details>

<details>
<summary>Can I use more than one assistant?</summary>

Yes. You can connect as many assistants as you need (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Grok). They all access the same files, allowing you to start a workflow in one tool and continue seamlessly in another.

</details>

## Files & Storage

<details>
<summary>Which files can my assistant read and save?</summary>

Any plain text or Markdown format — including system instructions, prompt templates, skills, code snippets, notes, and documentation. Each file can be up to 1 MB.

Your project can also hold tables: CSV files with the column names in the first row. Your assistant adds and changes their rows and answers questions about them. See [Tables](https://pacpio.com/docs/guides/tables).

If you have a PDF or an image, attach it to your chat and ask your assistant to save the relevant text into Pacpio. A spreadsheet can become a table in the same way.

</details>

<details>
<summary>How do I get the whole project on my computer?</summary>

You can download an archive of your project anytime:

- **In chat:** Ask your assistant for a download link.
- **On the web:** Open your project and click **Download** to get the latest version of all files as a `.zip` archive.
